These photos are the imaginative offspring of Bram Stoker’s Dracula and some sassy witches. The white witch, for instance, alludes to Lucy’s wedding dress, but instead of the handmade head-piece consisting entirely of lace and rousing, it has been integrated with her hair. A re-purposed table-cloth and leftover beads comprises her dress.
A very pregnant and maternally glowing Yochi plays the pearl witch whose costume suggests the clothes worn by a concubine in a harem. Our designers had fun keeping up with Yochi’s ever-growing mommy-breasts and had to refit her costume several times.
The red witch, Rebecca, invokes the dress Lucy wears in the garden as she succumbs to Dracula’s mesmerizing, animalistic come-ons. The ram horns are the product of three different ideas developed after some research, and we used extra material to create the wings emerging from her dress.
